Hi Brandon
I have a Bogen 700RC2 head that I used once on my trip to Africa I would sell for $50. It looks brand new except the locking lever is bent a bit, althought still functional. As far as low cost vidoe heads go, its probably one of the better ones. If you are interested I could send you a photo.

Century/Vocas 4x4 Matte Box

I have a superb Vocas (sold by Century ) SD-MB44-00 matte box for sale.
I bought this from a friend , who used it only twice, and unfortunately for me it is too large for my tiny little Sony HDV-A1. I should have purchased the DV mattebox MK11 compact. Very frustrating because this is a superb product, like new with no marks anywhere. IMHO the best matte boxs come from Chrosziel and Vocas. I especially like the Vocas because they come with "eyebrows" on the inside of the hood which act much the same as the sun visor inside your car. This does much to eliminate the need of a french flag. Now if you simply must have a large french flag ,there is slot to attach one as an option. I just returned from Africa with wonerful HDV movies but some of the errors I made were in exposure (easy to do in HDV) so I have done a lot of research on matte boxes. If you are shooting HDV you need a good matte box and this unit is one of the best, far superior to the Formatt , Pertoff, Lee, Cavision etc. I would not recommend this for a smaller camera like my Sony A1, but for Canon, Panasonic units, very nice.
Please use the link below to see the product on the Century website.

It sold new for over $950, I only want $400.

Betacam handle

Hi,

I'm looking for a single, unified handle to go between my Sony DXC-D35 camera head and Sony PVV3 BetacamSP dockable recorder.

Any forwarded links to where I can buy one would be appreciated as well.

thanks,

I have a Bogen 3130 Head, and Promaster System Pro 3 legs, that I would be willing to part with. The head is basically brand new, the legs are a little older, the center column goes up fine, but sometimes is a pain to get down. But the legs are sturdy, and open and lock fine.

You're right it was definitely the egg.

How about the Gitzo 2380 head?

Mic

Hey, now that you have sold your dxa-8, howabout selling me your mic and magnifier. :)

John McManimie January 29th, 2006 06:14 PM

I am lowering the price to $220, including shipping in the US.

This is only 40% of the retail price and considerably lower than that auction site as well. :-)

Well I already sold the mic and I think I want to keep the magnifier - at least for now. I do have the Mic mount though! Its a Lightwave shotgun mount.
