Jason, checkout NewEgg or Geeks.com for some great deals on external DVD burners. You can even make your own for about $60.

Fs: Sony Vx2100

I have a Sony VX2100 I'm looking to sell. It was purchased last year from Full Compass.

It comes with,

- manual,
- power cord,
- battery,
- eye cup,
- remote, (unused)
- strap, and (unsused)

Everything is in perfect condition in original box and wrappers.

I'd estimate the amount of hours this camera has on it as 15. It was mostly used for family videos and 1 wedding.

I'm hoping to get an even $2,000 for the camera, but I'll of course accept offers. Please reply if you are interested. I am verified with Paypal if you are interested in paying by credit card.

Thanks,
Ray

Dallas TX - Trade 60" HDTV for 50" HDTV

OK, I know this sounds crazy, but I don't like sitting too close or too far away from my television. With that in mind, I sit around 12.5 feet away from my 60" Sony HDTV. A little closer would probably be OK.

But I am moving to Florida and the new room is 4 feet shorter. So by my estimates, I need a 42" screen. Perhaps I can deal with a 50" HDTV.

I will be slowly moving my easy chairs up to see how close I can really get and still be comfortable. I would prefer trading for something in the 50" range though.

Anybody in the Dallas area at all interested in this idea? If you have purchased a good HDTV in 2005 - LCD, rear projection, and bought 50" to save money, I may have a great deal for both of us.

Selling a 60" TV will probably never bring as much as a decent 50" will cost. So this is a good deal for me. And trading up an extra 10" for free has got to be a good deal for someone out there. Right?

FS: Arri Light Kit and Sennheiser ME66 w/EQ

I'm selling a Senheiser ME66/K6 combo shotgun mic with a Lightwave Equalizer (eq-106). They have been used for only a few hours and are in like new condition. Asking $450 plus shipping.

I'm also selling an ARRI Light Kit. The kit has 3 each, Arri 650 plus fresnels (with barndoors, scrims, gel frames) and stands, and comes in a very nice portable Arri case. Only one light has ever been used and for only about an hour. Otherwise the kit is like new. I'll try to post pics later if any wants. This is the kit except that case shown is smaller and without wheels. Very nice and portable. Asking $1300 plus shipping

FS: Panasonic DVC80

Bought this one about a year and a half ago, shot less than 15 hours - I'm just not using it as much as I'd hoped, and being a student I have other expenses I need to focus on. The camera is great, and in excellent condition. I'm looking for $1800 OBO, I paid $2500 at the time of sale. This is an awesome camera, and I wish I had the time to spend to use it as much as it deserves - hoping it can go to a good home!

FS: Optex 16:9 Anamorphic Adapter

Well, I guess most of you know it. It optically squeezes a 16:9 on a 4:3 ccd.

I'm selling it because I just don't use it too often. Consequently, it's like new.

Any fair price will do, but please read a bit on this forum first. Since some people are extatic about it and others see too much downsides to it. I don't want to get known as a rip-off artist. :-)

But when used as intented, it a very nice lens.
