Can you let me know what accessories come with it? Are there any extra batteries? Also, what is the final price? I saw $1400 using a money order. Would you be willing to take that from paypal or are you set on $1425? Let me know. Thanks.

Still for sale?

I sent you a email yesterday, do you still have it for sale? I'm in BC too, and interested in the camera.

Thanks
Jason

Sony HVR-Z1U for sale - $4000.00

This is the one that was showcased on HDVINFO.NET by the boss man Chris Hurd himself. It was the flagship Z1U because it was the FIRST sold in California for sure (possibly America) by DVINFO sponsor EVS in Burbank Ca.

I am a PRODUCER, not a shooter or DP or videographer. What does that mean.....it means it's hardly been touched! Just sat in a pelican 1650 case for most of the year. It works flawlessly! And if you wan't it, it's yours, and just because you are a DVINFO.NET community member, I'll throw in the 4 extra (3-hour each) batteries for free. Original box, paperwork, etc...

Anyhow, call me @ my office in Los Angeles toll free 1-800-972-3688 if you're interested.

Why am I selling it?
Because I bought a $9,000.00 Canon XL-H1. *smile*

Not only is it hardly used, it's famous! Own a piece of history!

You should have no trouble finding a buyer for this, Shannon!

FS:Canon 16x manual lens

The lens is in mint condition and comes with the lens hood, cap and cover. I also have the manual sheets which were scanned and emailed by a nice guy on this forum( Mark Sasaharra)
I bought it here a few months back, but only used it a few times. Most of what I'm doing is run and gun, observational stuff, so I end up using the wa lens most of the time.If I did more planned cinematic stuff, I'd never sell it.It delivers a beautifull image, and if I had lots of money (lol) I'd keep it...A local dp who owns a cinealta played with it and loved it.
Everything works fine and there are no nicks or scratches. The back focus works perfectly.I think I paid $950 plus shipping, and I'll sell it for $900 plus shipping.
If you need pics, or have questions, feel free to contact me.

Shannon, now, I want to see what extra quality you get with spending another 5K. Or, have we come to but mine is bigger? :o)

Price drop - $1350

Ash Greyson December 23rd, 2005 12:47 AM

I just need to clear $1500 after shipping and paypal fees if applicable. I know I can sell it on eBay for that or more but would rather offer it to a forum member.

mmm--hard to pass this by without a correction--Garrett Brown is the inventor of the Steadicam; the gents who started Hollywood Lite used to work at the Steadicam factory back in the day, I can't remember if they were around at the beginning or not.

Doesn't affect the rig itself one way or another. Best of luck with the sale, Ash.

Canon XL H1 with 2 hours of HD SDI ONLY

Hi,

I bought a Canon XL H1 from Samy's in Venice last week. I only used it for capturing HD-SDI in order to test our server equipment.

Since we design and manufacture rackmount storage servers, we just needed some real life testing for high speed read/write testing.

Anyway, we are not a video company, so it’s useless for us in the long run.

First $8500 takes. All boxes, all new, with receipt, etc.
