Sony HVR-V1U (Damaged)
 

Hi guys...

I'm selling my Sony HVR-V1U. The camera has two issues: 1. Firewire port is not working. Purchased the camera used and I had trouble connecting from the start (seller never disclosed this issue) 2. XLR's are not working. This one was my fault. Despite my tendencies to be extremely cautious with my equipment, I managed to drop it on a sports shoot. It tipped over because I left my sticks uneven when I walked away from it and it landed right on the XLR dock. The dock has slightly detached from the camera, just enough I guess to cause them not to work now. I've attached pictures for you to see. (Nothing else appears to be affected.)

Despite all this, the camera works believe it or not, still has a ton of life left in it. It does still record beautiful imagery, you'll just need an external audio adapter for audio (hey, it's just become an FX-7 but with 1080 24p!) and, at the very least, a Sony consumer HDV camera for ingesting your tapes (which you can get on eBay now for as little as $250--C'mon, you shouldn't even be using your main camera for ingesting anyways!). I know, I know, this all sounds silly and troublesome!!.....which is why I'm selling for a whopping $1,100.

I will sell my Manhattan HD Monitor with 20 foot HDMI cable and Pelican case with the crane for $500.00 Cdn. I will NOT sell the kit in pieces so please having read this don't ask. Prefer to sell locally. This crane kit is super flexible allowing you to use it manually from the front end or rear, at a couple lengths or with the super smooth Pan/Tilt head that is rated for cameras up to 20 pounds. This is a lovely head and like silk with great adjustments to refine the control. You can add a dutch head to this kit and wireless remote. Also with the Kessler mod and extension you can bring it up to 16 feet.
I hate to part with it but time for a new camera and need to raise funds.

The Z1E AND Z1P ( for Pacific region ) are the PAL versions. However all the versions do both PAL and NTSC. The camera can be switched from one to the other and it goes through a reboot in doing it. The consumer version, the FX1 does not, so avoid a US version of the FX1 if you decide to buy an FX1 instead.

for those that may not know, the jvc200 series is a wonderful camera system which still can produce quality images.

yes!

You can see that the keyboard and the trackpad show virtually no wear at all.
Only on the outside lid and bottom are there a few very light scratches.

Putting a feeler out on my XF305. In great shape, shoots terrific pictures. This is the very same camera used in the Vortex Media's training DVD. 2 batteries included. Includes the original packaging.
Some slight scratches around the battery compartment, as you can see in a pic.

So we ordered this camera over a month ago from full compass for a job (it was on back order, we just received the camera last week) and the jobs requirements changed. We were going to keep it but after much thought we are letting it go.

The camera is brand new and was just taken out of the box and tested at the office. As you can see from the one picture it has 1 hour on it. Oh and I did put the little plastic stabilizer thing on the bottom.

We would like to get $7000 since we paid $8300, it has one hour on it and comes with the accessories listed below. Paypal preferred.

In addition to everything that the camera comes with new we are including the following accessories (left over from an EX1):
