Sorry, bud, it's the 15.2 incher.
Nice to hear from a fellow New Yorker. And a guy who knows the Dane Hack. It's been a life-saver for me. From the info I got on the Mac editing forum here, I'm less depressed. Maybe FCP 4 is the answer. All the best, Elmer Lang |

You can't get the Dane Hack anymore, Apple has suppressed it... |
Brian - You may want to create a seperate post for your looking for item.

Hi Jed,
Thank you for the comment. I am new to the community and it seems I clicked the wrong bar. I do appreciate your assistance. I will take your suggestion and create a separate post. |
WTB: GL2/GL1/TRV950/VX2000 - If the Price is Right...Have a look!
Well I'm looking for any one of these cameras if the price is right. The GL2 is at the top of my list, followed by the GL1 (for its size compared to the vx2000)
GL2: $1500-$1750 GL1 - $900-$1150 VX2000 - $1500-$1750 (I know prices HAD to have dropped with the new vx2100) TRV950 - $1100-$1350 Let me know if anybody has anything around this. I don't really need accessories as I've acquired TONS of them over the years with the different cameras I've owned so let me know your price and deal and what you have. My e-mail is: tmaxxtim AT comcast DOT net (typing like this prevents spammers!!) Thanks again! Tim |
You might also want to contact dvinfo's sponsors to see if they have any of these cams used.
|
I took a look and couldn't find any there. All I saw were XL1 and XL1s's. Thanks for the suggestion though.
|
I'm VERY Interested in your TRV950. Check you're e-mail. I sent you one last night!

FS: Optex-converted Fujinon 14x lens for XL1 / XL1S
This lens has been sitting on a closet shelf for far too long. It needs to go to a good home where it'll be used and appreciated. This is an original (and now somewhat rare) Fujinon T14x5.5 BRM4 broadcast video zoom lens converted by Optex UK for use on the XL1 / XL1S, by removing the zoom motor handgrip and adding an XL mounting plate. It is in like-new condition and has never been used outside. It was made in 1998, sold in the U.S. by ZGC and I bought it with my XL1 package in 1999. See a complete description at http://www.dvinfo.net/canon/articles/article32.php. This lens will produce the "lens" warning in the viewfinder; but it appears only in the bottom-left corner of the display and does not blink. Meanwhile, it offers complete manual analog control of focus, zoom and iris. Backfocus is adjustable and the included manual details all aspects of lens operation. The original blank warranty card is also provided.
Package includes: -- Fujinon 14x Lens with XL back -- Fujinon Lens Cap & Canon Back Cap -- Canon Lens Bag -- Operator's Manual w/ Siemens Star Focus Chart -- Warranty Card Package photos: http://www.dvinfo.net/media/hurd/fujikit.jpg http://www.dvinfo.net/media/hurd/fujilen.jpg http://www.dvinfo.net/media/hurd/fujibar.jpg http://www.dvinfo.net/media/hurd/fujixl1.jpg http://www.dvinfo.net/media/hurd/fujiman.jpg http://www.dvinfo.net/media/hurd/fujibag.jpg Price is $750 and includes half of overnight shipping charge to addresses within Continental USA. For USA customers only; payment by cashier's check please. Contact me at chris@dvinfo.net -- thanks, |
Try B&H. They have a large "used dep."
|
Does their inventory change often? I looked there but all they had were about 5 or 6 XL1's.
|
Chris,
first off: damn you... I just had resolved not to buy a manual lens in lieu of one of the 35mm options we've been talking about in the 'film look' section--- What size filters does this take? Screw on like the canon stock lens? |
