This item is still for sale.

You have no idea how much background noise this thing cuts out. It's awesome for interviews in loud environments.

Just barely at your budget, but literally the nicest setup you can get new for that cash. I bought this exact setup after months of being frustrated by what productions were giving me for these light cameras. I did a LOT of hands-on research, comparing capabilities across the board. The gitzo setup is extremely similar, though I found the head to be slightly less smooth than the Vinten head. The Vinten has a progressive fluid action - depending on how hard you pan it, it responds differently - VERY nice feel, very accurate. If I had to buy a 0-22lb tripod setup again, I would change nothing.

You don't have to take my word for it, but I've used basically everything out there and find this to be the ultimate mid-budget lightweight setup (except perhaps carbon legs, if you have slightly more cash). I am getting an Oconnor, but that's for heavier rigs - this setup is PERFECT for everything up to a moderately tricked-out Varicam. Check the used market - you can sometimes find good packages... but be prepared to wait around to find the right one, and then make sure you try it in person to make sure it's all good. I had an old Oconnor I got for $50... should have been a great setup, but the fluid system needed an overhaul - as expensive as getting a new setup.

sony hc1 for sale

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. I have a sony hc1 for sale. It works, but it sometimes gives a error 31:22 (I think) or it says there is condensation the in the camera and it needs turned off for an hour. Either way I just turn it off, unplug the battery, wait ten seconds, put it back on and turn the camera back on. It usually works. If anyone is wanting to or already has gone tapeless with the dte recorders then this is for you. All other functions on the camera work and the glass is clean except the eject door spring came loose and it must be closed manually by pushing the button forward catching it, then sliding it back to lock it shut. This is for the camera only no other accesories included except the lens hood. I have given my honest description of this camera and would probably keep it and use a dte except I have no real way to edit in hd. $500 obo. Spend for the repair or buy a dte for about the same price. Dan. Please pm for more info.

FS: Strobes....

These items have always been in the studio and are in perfect working condition...

note; these Swiss made still photography strobe lights.... very high end equip.

The Opus A8 pack delivers up to 6400WS and listed new for over $6k

The Pulso 4 twin head ( retail $2800 ) delivers the 6400WS of light from the pack and is also know to be one of the best ways to shoot highspeed capture when set at it's lowest setting ( very short flash duration ) from the opus pack. ( freezing drops of water etc. )

I'm looking to get $2400 for the Opus A8 pack
and $1500 for the Pulso Twin 4 head.

Thanks.
