Thanks, Joe

Tyge Floyd February 28th, 2007 01:46 PM

Do you have any idea how many hours the GL2 has on it? Please explain great condition. Is it flawless, no problems or otherwise?

I'm looking for a backup camera for a three month assignment in Africa.

Steven Fokkinga March 1st, 2007 01:59 PM

So did you sell it in the end?

Do you mean late March?

I would be interested depending, of course, what the purchase price was that you're taking $500 off of. That's a bit undefined as well.
I mean if your purchase price was $4000 I probably wouldn't be interested.

Hi Ken
I知 thinking of selling mine. It痴 two weeks old and has not left the studio and still boxed. I知 selling it because I知 finding it difficult to use and want something more immediate. It has an extra bat (Sakar BP-945) and card reader that cost $100 all in, the camera originally cost me $3425 from Buydig.. = $3525 total. I知 thinking 400 off. Let me know if you are interested. I have all the paper work, receipts and warranty etc. and live in NY if it helps.

Vishal,
If you are still looking, I have a Sony LCS-VCB soft case that I received when I purchased a large FX1 lot last summer that I'd be willing to get rid of for $70 - I'll pay for shipping. The case has never been used (to my knowledge) and shows only very very minor shelf wear from sitting.

Additionally, I have a Sony VCT-870RM tripod w/ on-handle LANC controller which has also only seen the inside of a dark closet. I would not exactly call this a great tripod and I'll let you refer to others on the board for it's quality, but it is relatively sturdy for the FX1 and fits your budget. If interested, I'll part with that for $80 w/ shipping included.

I have photos of both posted on the web already and will get the link for you if you are interested in either of these items.

Finally, on a totally different note (not for sale) I recommend the Bogen 701RC head as a fairly inexpensive match for the FX1. I have 2 sets of legs with this head on it and cannot complain at all for the price of about $100. If you could find a solid pair of legs 2nd hand, this head could probably meet your needs and hit your budget.

FS: EF Adapter XL

Hey all,

I'm selling a Canon EF adapter XL. I bought it used about 18 mos ago and never used it. I bought a new battery for it, tested it, and put it in a drawer, never to be brought out again! I sold my two cameras a couple of weeks ago and i just ran across this adapter, so I'm offering it here.

It is in the original box and pouch with both caps. It worked fine when I tested it (18 mos ago) but I dont have a camera to test it on now, so I'm selling it as is. It should work fine, though.

I also have two lenses I am throwing in with it. The first is a Canon zoom lens EF 28-90mm and it comes with a Bowen Titanium Digital Superwide 0.42x wide angle adapter with step up ring. I am also including a Phoenix 19-35mm EF lens.

Everything seems to be in great shape. $300 plus shipping takes it all!

These lights ROCK. I love mine.

Jad Meouchy March 1st, 2007 04:46 PM

I'm interested.

What's the magnification with this?
Would you accept Paypal?

edit: wow Jad beat me by a second.....
{oh snap}

Jad Meouchy March 1st, 2007 04:49 PM

I think the magnification is somewhere between 7x and 9x. In any case, it's pretty significant.

Bryon Akerman March 1st, 2007 05:00 PM

Wow..that was quick. Yeah, I prefer paypal. email me over your zip and I'll figure shipping. akermanproductions@cox.net

XH-A1 - Two Weeks Old

It will be sad to see it go but I知 thinking of Selling my XH-A1, it is two weeks old, has not left the studio and still boxed (I致e only shot about an hours footage). I知 selling it because I知 finding it difficult to use and want something more immediate. It has an extra bat (Sakar BP-945) and card reader that cost $100 all in, the camera originally cost me $3425 from Buydig, a $3525 total. I知 thinking of $3100 which is basically the restocking and shipping fee. I have all the paper work, receipts and warranty etc. and it is as new and shiny as the day it left the factory. I live in NY if that helps.

What exactly do you mean by too hard and more immediate?

The cam is fairly simple, and anything else (HVX, HVR) will be just as hard...

Case

Wow thanks Jon for the advice - I'm absolutely interested in the case and would love to see pics - i think i may have obtained a deal on the sticks but i appreciate your offer and suggestion for sure.

If you could please email me the link for the case, that'd be sweet.. and we can converse via my home email .

Cheers!

Actually they're not the same.
Mouse over each one and look at the URL in your status bar.
Looks like you copied the URL text from a search engine results (Google perhaps?) - I copied mine straight off the address bar in IE.

Yer welcum! Good luck with your sale.

Sony Hvr-a1u For Sale

SONY HVR-A1U MINT FOR SALE w/ EXTRAS

1 year old Sony A1U that has been used for balcony cam wide shot and not much else. Way more features than I need for a static wide shot. Everything has been kept in mint condition. The Sony Master tape that it came with was never even used. The little plastic thing in the remote that keeps the battery from being used up...still there! The XLR microphone's sock.... still in the bag (dust free since day one).

Everything is packed as if it were factory fresh with all of the original bags and twisty ties (yeah, I'm anal). The box is missing its UPC code because I rebated this puppy when I got it.

PLUS you get over $100 in extras... a standoff tripod plate so that you can easily (un)load tapes when this bottom loading camera is on a tripod. These stand off plates are really hard to find now

AND an extra really big battery that will give you 300 minutes of power when shooting HDV (340 min in DV/DVCAM mode)

AND FREE shipping

All this for only $1995.95

Jon Elam March 2nd, 2007 08:50 AM

Vishal,
The photos of my entire FX1 lot can be found here:
http://www.imagestation.com/album/pi...il-AlbumInvite

The Sony Tripod is the first few pictures in the album and the case is near the end (pics 38-46). If you click on the images in the album, there is a link below that will allow you to view the original full resolution image. When i took the photos, I put my tripod on the top of the bag to show the scale.

Here is a link for the case at B&H with the specific details (size, etc).
