no, the only PAL frame rate that it will record is 50p in 576p.

Really wish I could pick this up, but my system is too old to support it. Currently running RT.X100 and it's been cool.

I am not sure that I can answer that question. I can only say that it is an awesome monitor whether I am using it with my computer or inputting DVI from Satellite reciever.
