HG10 footage slowed down glitches
I bought three HG10 cams for my media arts class to delve into HD. For the most part we've been happy, but there is one big issue I'm seeing. Perhaps someone can help?

HF20 - Cannot change video size?!
Hi, I'm trying to help a student with her HF20 -- what a lovely little camera! -- but we can't figure out how to change the frame size. It is currently set to 2560 x 1080 which seems waaaay too big....

My XL2 heads wore down once a year, like clockwork. I would get digital glitches and audio drop-out and have to send it to the Canon factory for "professional cleaning." Cost me $300 every time....

Hey, i don't want to insult your knowledge of FCP, but have you tried "Refresh Devices" and made sure that in your Preferences, "Mirror on Desktop" is selected? Just a few little things to check...

Good to know I'm not the only one with this problem. I think the main problem is that I use my XL2 as my capture camera... that's a lot of extra use. I've never switched tape brands though. Guess...
