HG10 footage slowed down glitches

Thanks for the reply. In FCP, the dimensions for the video definitely read "2560 x 1080." The video is SUPER long, like cinescope back in the 50s... very odd indeed. We've looked through the manual...

My XL2 heads wore down once a year, like clockwork. I would get digital glitches and audio drop-out and have to send it to the Canon factory for "professional cleaning." Cost me $300 every time....

Hey, i don't want to insult your knowledge of FCP, but have you tried "Refresh Devices" and made sure that in your Preferences, "Mirror on Desktop" is selected? Just a few little things to check...
