One of the other tricks you can do in this situation is use warm cards with the deepest blue card to set your white balance. This has worked for me in such situations.

EX3 SDI out to nanoflash ...
I need to record from a clip on the SXS card via SDI to the NanoFlash ... the nanoflash reads the clip settings, I've set the nanoflash to record on record button ... press play on the ex3 and hear...

Thanks Alister ... mine is an original ... bought it when they first came out. I use a tiffin IR filter with my camera ... it does the job but I've never used it in combo with an EX1R and really was...

Yes ... Dennis Japanese gear tends to be more expensive here compared to the States. Good prices however, can be had for used gear.
