Any tips on making day for night look a little less lame?

Hi everyone.

I have a scene or two in an upcoming project that needs to be set at night. We're using the redrock m2 35mm lens adaptor which, as you know, isn't the best as far as low light goes...

That's kind of what I thought - lots of cutting and as long as there's movement in all the shots, it's going to have that frenetic feel.
