Re: is the DVX200 still worth buying?

Hi Tom.

The external mic holder comes supplied with the camera, but not attached whilst shipping in the box.

Re: Panasonic UX-180 audio issue

As an audio engineer with extensive TV and sound studio experience before my 22 years as a videographer, I would always suggest a cable fault before an intermittent camera fault.

Re: DVX200 - Strange Skin Tones even after FW update

Hi Ben,

The yellow skin tones (I do stage shows with varying lighting) have been largely diminished with the new firmware but are still there as you've discovered.

Re: DVX200- No Exposure Meter at all and no WFM while recording?

The WFM can be used when filming, you just lose the other info off the screen when it's turned on.

You also forgot to mention that it also has a histogram, not that I ever use it, but it's listed...

stage test on Vimeo

Karl, in this clip you will see a transition from a dark stage to the front well lit stage (yes, it took me 3 seconds or so to close the iris, I know), but you will see...

Re: AG AC160A settings for an operatic performance

Hi Karl,

Some of my parameters seem to change from time to time, but the main ones that stay the same are Master Pedestal +1 (+2 on very dark stage) Gamma HD Norm (I think because it had lower...

Re: AG AC160A settings for an operatic performance

Hi Karl,

I know I'm late to this thread, but wondering why you would set the Master Pedestal to -9, have the %meter set to 28 - 32% for the main actors, then spend the rest of thread wondering why...

Re: Sony FDR-AX100

I use my AX100 recording 4K for stage shows on a wide shot as a 'safety' shot, and our other cameras are Panasonic AG130 and 160's. When both the AX100 and the wide Panasonic have been beside each...

Re: Sony FDR-AX100

Re: Sony FDR-AX100

Auto focus was pretty good last week when I shot 5 dance concerts, however when the stage lights went out at the end of each item, the camera would reset the auto focus at 0.1 metres, thus completely...

[QUOTE=Dave Blackhurst;1845801]Adriano - you've already got your answer on framerates, you should have an EU PAL camera, with 25 (actually 24.97?) framerate instead of the US/NTSC 30 (actually...
