Same problem
Charlie,
I`ve got the same problem when shooting a band with a red light on them.
But those "lines" didn`t appear in the tv monitor (normal tv screen, not lcd or plasma), and i shoot in dv...

Pulldown
I've shot in 24p and captured using Apple ProRes 422 1080p24 in Final Cut. Athough the footage came in 30 fps with pulldown.
If I remove the pulldown will i achieve more quality?
