Re: Your favorite "Add-On's" that have made your life so much easier!

There's no filter invented that could thin the arms of a kiwi bride ;) (too far?)

Re: How long do you hold a date open?

Re: Bringing your own sound speakers to wedding?

Hi Jeff, weddings I do here in NZ are usually 80 guests in smaller venues. Since the earthquakes took out all our churches, it's mainly all vineyards, golf courses function rooms etc. The MiPro...

Re: Bringing your own sound speakers to wedding?

I do.

It has made a world of difference to the quality of speeches, especially no more hassles trying to get decent feeds from DJ's and/or inhouse systems. I just park this baby in the corner, ...

Re: I hate being called 'The video man'

I've done a few funerals but they always call at such short notice. I recommend people book at least 6 months in advance now.

Re: Changing what we offer - wedding Packages

EUREEEEKA!

I just did a discount this weekend to a bride who didn't want any fancy-pants montages, just the service, guests congrats, speeches and first couple of dances.

WHAT A REVELATION!...

Hi Robert, I'll get an MP4 loaded shortly. Stephen Gradin - no shot transition feature sorry.

In the meantime, I can report just finishing a wedding with the NX3 and it was BRILLIANT. ...

Re: Sony announces HXR-NX3 professional HD camcorder

Hi Ron, it appears to be slightly padded at each end. Not a jarring stop, but I don't know if it's actually true ramping. I'll get something up in the next couple of days for you.

Re: Sony announces HXR-NX3 professional HD camcorder

Re: Sony announces HXR-NX3 professional HD camcorder

Re: Sony announces HXR-NX3 professional HD camcorder

Hi Tony, I'm upgrading from the Sony Z7 which is HDV and been using since 2008. Similar form factor. The 40x zoom is very impressive. For event purposes no client would ever notice any digital...

Re: Sony announces HXR-NX3 professional HD camcorder

Nope - it's crazy. You flip the LCD over and the operator then cannot see the LCD, nor anything through the viewfinder because the LCD is active. So the operator is staring at the back of the...
