Which colour / gamma settings give the best image for, colour correction?

I don't care if the image looks flat in camera, I'm just looking for the cameras highest dynamic range, best knee settings, blacks etc.

Are x.v colour, ITU-r 709 any use?

I've got a broadcast monitor with a 75% or 100% switch for component input, if I am giving it a colour bar feed from a Z7 should it be set to 75% or 100%? Would this differ from a feed from Final Cut...

Can prores be captured without Raid 0 with BlackMagic Intensity Pro with Mac Pro 8 core, 8 gig, Final Cut. I can capture hdv and encode on fly to prores in Final cut, without a raid?

Not sure how to check the location of the chipset..? Would I need a screw driver..? in the Z7 documentation it states its 4:2:2 from HDMI.. but wasn't sure if this was iffy.

How to get 1 channel of audio in both ears....

I read that there is a simple mini jack adapter with can convert the stereo out from the camera, into a single channel to both ears. Combating the problem of not having individual channel monitoring...

Using Final Cut this seems most apparent with HDV 25p footage captured to CF, also visible with HDV 25p Progressive captured to Tape.

I've shot DVCprohd stuff on a hvx200, and Sony Z7 footage seems sharper than that? I've got detail down to -7 as well most of the time. Viewing on FCP with Cinema display 23inch. Really sharp stuff...
