Rolling 7 minutes of a different brand tape is not going to kill your camera. You shouldn't have any problems. Run the cleaning tape for 10 seconds and switch over to the TDK's if you can get those...

as far as I know the dv2000 is a dv deck, not DVCAM. DVCAM is different. YES, you can use the same tapes, but the DVCAM format records at a higher speed. Most decks will play DVCAM, but wont record...

mine would do that alot when I had to playback...

mine would do that alot when I had to playback different brands of tape. If it's got a serious head-clog you will need to open it up and clean the heads, works better than the cleaning tape.
