I had rendered out a project using the default for the DVD NTSC video stream(it is HDV video) - without thinking, I never changed aspect ratio to 16:9 (from 4:3) until now...

Weird - I did render out the audio separately as an AC3 and burned the DVD...when I played it the background music was all but inaudible! Everything else seemed fine, just that. I am going to do it...

It might be that the SIZE of the clip (using the + - on the right hand side) is too small. Clip on the + a few times and it will make the clip big enough to fix the FX, Media Generator and Pan/Crop...
