The JVC HD250 is a professional camera. It offers SDI out which the DVCAM doesn't. I think that you will find more DVCAM cameras in Turkey than JVC HDV cameras.

It is cheaper and has a larger Hard Drive. Also the V mount or AB mount options are better than the Firestore mount.

It doesn't use FAT32 to format it's hard drive. Thus no more 2 gig file size...

Fast moving subjects don't lend themselves well to rolling shutters. You might want to go for a Progressive camera with a traditional shutter.

It was all shot in HD. Not sure which format. Probably HDCAM. Very high end production.
