Re: Upgrading to Win 10 PPRO CC & Dual Boot SYS

Re: X70 battery life
I have not noticed this to be a problem.

Re: Are people still using Encore?
Regarding Adobe's discontinuation of Encore:
My understanding is that Adobe was leasing some of the core technology for Encore from a third party.

Re: Are people still using Encore?
Actually, I should have said that it's just in recent recent years I've used AME for BD/DVD encoding.
I used to use mostly Procoder (Canopus/Grass Valley), and occasionally TMPGenc frameserving for...

Re: Can X70 PP's be Saved on SDXC Card?
BTW, when you save the settings to the SD card, it's not just the PP settings, it's all the custom settings you have made including custom button assignment, etc.

Re: New Sony AX-53 Testing
I have a CX 760 that I use as a travel cam.
It was cam of the year when it was released, and still IMO sets a high standard for a compact, fairly full featured HD handicam with BOSS stabilization....

Re: New Sony AX-53 Testing
Thanks for the footage.
Pretty amazing images for a $998 camera.
The stabilization looked great too.
It may finally be time to upgrade my Sony CX-760 travel cam, although the AX-53 doesn't look...

Re: Next big revision of Premiere Pro?
I agree with Noa.
Setting up the new system with a powerful, fast CPU is the key to futureproofing.
A fast i7 or Xeon with at least 6 cores would be a proper priority.
