Ran the camera for two and a half hours straight...

Ran the camera for two and a half hours straight this evening. The white dot wasn't there on the first file but was on the last. So it looks like its a heat thing.

Not good.

I've done the system preset and am waiting to see if the white dot appears again. Since it is an intermittent fault I'll just have to wait.

Hopefully, it won't be when I'm using it for a real paid...

You can run your clips through MPEG streamclip turn them out as AIC files, and then drop them in FCP6 if you use the one of the 'Easy Everio Setups' files which you can use with FCP
