Thanks Rob. I tried it out and a 9 min avi file created by my Raptor DV card took about 60min to convert to a Mpeg2. It was actually longer than the DVD plug in software with Media Studio Pro 6.5 ....

This is what I do at all my weddings. Regular mode for all "reality type footage" Ceremony, post ceremony, pre reception, reception speeches. Then I use Frame mode for those "creative, fun" scenes....

2 cameras is already a pain! I do most of my many weddings with 1 camera. I'm much more ceative this way. I edit as I shoot and the end result is good....

I just re-did everything back up from scratch!
I lost 2hrs of edited footage on my drive that I didn't transfer back to tape! I was taking a break and then a cable came off and detroyed my drives...
