TM900 Spanned Files Merge?

Noticed my TM900 is spanning files at 4GB for long recordings. In AE Writer it shows 1 file, but in explorer there are 2 files. Anyway to merge into 1? Is there a setting on the TM900 to not span...

Re: Jump to Next Event Marker on Timeline?

Great, thanks! So I have to do this for each individual clip? Oh well. Wonder if there's an automated script to do all of them.

Re: Jump to Next Event Marker on Timeline?

Thank you Mike. Yes, I can already see the orange markers within the event on the timeline. With CTRL + arrow you can skip to Timeline markers but is there a way to jump to the next or previous...

Jump to Next Event Marker on Timeline?

I know you can jump to a timeline marker via CTRL arrow key but can you jump to the next event marker on the timeline? I've placed markers within events in the trimmer window to indicate significant...

Re: The Panasonic TM900 Users Thread

Quick question, no touch focus in Manual Mode??? There's AF tracking in iA mode which is pretty handy, but no touch focus in Manual?

Re: The Panasonic TM900 Users Thread

Thanks Tom! Any glaring issues at full Telephoto being so wide open? Softness, chromatic abrasions, etc?

Also, what's your opinion of the photos you're getting with the TM900?

Re: The Panasonic TM900 Users Thread

Well, I did some tests this morning and answered my own question. Albeit not with a TM900 but with an HV40 and a Raynox DCR-2020PRO 2.2x Telephoto Lens. Results are not surprising. Lists from best...

Re: The Panasonic TM900 Users Thread

Hi Tom H.,

Correct me if I'm wrong but I recollect you being an expert on WA and zoom lens adaptors from past forum posts. Directly related to the TM900, the zoom range leaves a little to be...

Re: The Panasonic TM900 Users Thread

Wow! Thanks Tom for the response, that's very helpful. Excuse my ignorance as I don't have a TM900 quite yet, but what settings are you adjusting in MNL mode then? WB? What more does iA do vs...

Re: Vegas to Encore for Blu Ray render

Hi Gerald,

What version of Vegas are you using? I too, go from Vegas to Encore 2.0. I tried Architect and I didn't know what was happening. Unintuitive is right but then again much like...

Re: The Panasonic TM900 Users Thread

Thanks for the thorough writeup Tom! May have one of these guys in hand soon but if I understand you correctly you're saying that you get better images with iA vs manual mode?

Re: new camera: Panasonic AG-HPX250

No 1080P 60P? Was hoping since this feature is in Panny's high to mid level consumer cams (TM900, SD90) that this would be creep into the prosumer end.

Re: TM900 with OIS with Lens Filter = Vignetting!?!

Thanks for the reply Colin. Not sure what's going on in the clip above, but you can see vignetting in the upper and lower corners on the left side of the frame. Not sure what's going on. If you're...

TM900 with OIS with Lens Filter = Vignetting!?!

May be a soon-to-be owner of the TM900, but read this on Amazon.com review:

"Using *any* lens filter on this camcorder with image stabilization on is a big no-no. When panning the camera with a...

Re: Undo in FX Filters?

Thanks for the reply Edward. Yeah, this seems rather silly to me and rather primitive. How can we suggest to the developers of Sony Vegas to implement basic undo stepping within FX? Many thanks...

Re: Undo in FX Filters?

Thanks Edward. Do you know if there is a way to step undo my changes or is this just the way it is? If I hit ctrl+z while in the FX window, nothing happens. Thanks.

Re: Undo in FX Filters?

I've just learned to live with this abnormal behavior but recently revisited this thread. There doesn't seem to be an undo to last adjustment within the FX Filter in Vegas 8.0c and a non-responsive...

TM900 on Steadicam with OIS?

Conventionally, it's been said to turn off all OIS when doing steadicam work. Does this still hold true with the latest OIS technology on the TM900?

Re: AE Shift adjustment while Recording: XHA1

Re: Gearshift for 60p files from TM900?

Still on XP, 32bit Vegas 8.0c. 4GB of Ram (3GB seen by Windows). No realtime playback, hovering around 22fps on preview half, and barely realtime in draft mode.

I'll check out HDLink. Do you...
