It has a very wide lens anyway.

Even doing weddings in small houses and rooms I've never felt the need for a wider angle.

Yes, I find 2 hours of AVCHD is taking 4 hours or so in Edius Batch Convert on a i7 920.

Even after it's converted it struggles to play 2 streams (Windows 7 64bit).

Roll on Edius 6!
