Cinevate DSLR rig
The Items:
A barely used UNO DSLR rig with an extra UNO grip. The base plate is the older version but it still gets the job done. This is not the heavy support rig but depending on the camera you...

Sharpening in CS4
How do you sharpen in CS4 when you've used a flat profile. It seems when I try to get some of my sharpness back it leaves a bit of a white border around the entire image (Too much I assume) but any...

How many are using non Canon lenses?
I'm just curious as to what the lens list looks like for those not using Canon lenses on their cameras (And what adapters they've found work best?).
I saw Rokinon 85M-C 85mm F1.4 Aspherical Lens...

Shooting video at f4
For those with 4L lenses, do you find you are still able to get nice bokeh and a nice shallow DOF when needed, even at f4?

Re: Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8??
I can't quite figure out which one I want:
Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8
or
Canon 17-40mm f/4 L
The Tokina has 2.8 all the way through. But no filters to protect the front element.

Sigma 24mm 1.8 lens Canon mount
I have had this lens for a couple years. Great wide angle prime. I will post some pictures up of the actual lens when I get home. The only thing that should be noted is that there is a slight scratch...

Re: Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8??
Any video you have time to take, just showing it at 16mm and 28mm, something inside so you don't use the mattbox or sometime late in the evening.
Just curious as to how it holds up

Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8??
Anybody use this lens? I only just heard about it while trying to figure out whether to dig deep and buy myself the 16-35mm or save a bit and get the 17-40 4L (Save to get myself a 35mm prime).

Re: Cinestyle and LUT: Not working?
Sorry for the delay...I think I was quick on the post.
I used the Cinestyle in my 1Dm4 to capture video. I have to use LUT buddy from Red Giant (Free) along with the LUT table. I've seen videos of...

Cinestyle and LUT: Not working?
Is this common among PP users? It seems if I apply the LUT S-Curve, even after changing it to 16 or 64 bit (As recommended in video I saw, otherwise it won't work) it still won't do anything for me....

Re: Wedding Film Frame Rate, 24 or 30?
I've seen in both 24 and 30. Shot well, it doesn't matter. Shot poorly and it doesn't matter. Whatever you feel is aesthetically pleasing is the frame rate you go with IMO. Or whatever sells if you...

Re: Lenses: Can you tell the difference?
The reason I ask this is because it seems that whenever I use the Sigma 24mm the image quality looks 'off' whereas with the Canon 100mm or Canon 70-200, I get a better quality image. I need a lens...

Lenses: Can you tell the difference?
From a purely photographic standpoint, with all the Photoshop done to the end product, spot editing etc, it's sometimes hard to tell whether they used an expensive Canon/Nikon lens, or if they used...

Re: Tm-750
From what I read it's 18x of iA zoom. I have it set so that it won't zoom beyond that. It has 96GB built-in memory. The image stabilization is like nothing I've seen (Being able to turn it on and off...
