The OpturaPi IS really small. Basically just a viewscreen, lens, and a small deck. The MX5000 looks like it has better ergonomics.

I have several small clips totaling about 125MB. Each small clip is between 10 to 30MB. I havent removed pulldown on any of the clips either, due to lack of software.

Actually, I'd like to see those stills from the PAL XL1s in FRAME mode. I would think that any sharpness benefits of PAL would be negated in FRAME mode due to the 25% decrease in Vertical resolution...
