It is all supposed to work we are still tracking down these issues.

Two issues I'm aware of
1) The CineForm AVI and CineForm MOV export options from Premiere Pro don't work from CineForm Studio...

Under windows, simply double click on the .cube and it will be installed for used in FirstLight (old) and CineForm Studio (current).

Contact support regarding your serial number. Neo is the direct upgrade path, but you can also upgrade from Neo HD and Neo 4K with supports help.

I thouhgt you are talking of decoding, SG never supported export to CineForm. We tried for years to convince them to add that.

SpeedGrade has used CineForm for years, unless Adobe broke it (I haven't tested) I expect it works as it always did.

There is no command line equivalent for HDLink or CineForm Studio, but your question is a first.
Most users give as grief for offer any command line tools and want GUI only. We use command line...

I really don't know the Mac that well, but the same should work under Premiere Pro. However, neither After Effects or Adobe Media Encoder support 3D native rendering, only Premiere Pro support this...

It can be done, although it is trickier than it should be.

1) Convert to CineForm without scaling (i.e. leave at the native resolution.) For GoPro 3D timelapse footage use CineForm Studio.

That is a the camera's resolution, and 12-bit is sometimes used to indicate the source was 4:2:0 color space (as 4:2:0 averages 12-bit per pixel.)
