Try using Scenalyzer software. You have total control of time lapse settings and can get excellent results. Good thing is it records direct to disk. Obviously relies on your camera to be connected...

At last, the 35mm world is not upside down
I have just tried mounting the FU-1000 on the other side, not problem at all, although the MIC lead doesn't reach, at last I should be able to frame easily with a 35mm adapter !!.

SG35 - XL2 initial test footage
Just received the SG35 today and gave it a quick roadtest before the sun went down. This was done with the standard 20x lens on the XL2, and a Canon FD f/1.4 50mm lens on the adapter.
