I've had mine cranked up full power for about 10 minutes now testing it out for you...and I'm happy to report no heat at all. Not even up close. Even the casing stays cool.

I'm one of those types that refuses to even load Real Audio into my computer. So looks like I'm out of luck until the Mac version of Media Player is updated to take care of all the bugs...
