It does work perfectly with the DTE. Make sure you have the firewire plugged into the proper port on top of the DTE and set you menu as desired for syncronous or not. You'll know it's attached...

Let's just wait and see with the Red. Almost certainly the Red would not be a production line camera as JVC, Sony or Panasonic are. I think the Red would be a specialty camera. Maybe I'm wrong?

I think there is misunderstanding. 20% of 60fps...
I think there is misunderstanding. 20% of 60fps would be 12fps effective which is how my NLE calculates slow motion. ie with 60fps footage, I need to "conform" it in the time warp editor to 50% in...
