Yep, normal. I noted this with my FS5 some time ago and indeed others have too on their FS5s.
In any of the 9 locked positions the handle will rotate with a play of about 2mm. Really wish it did...

FS5 will NOT encode XDCAM 50 Mbps 4.2.2...even though it has the XDCAM monica on it's side.
It will record the more modern XAVC-Long GoP at 50Mbps 4.2.2 codec at 10-bit (in HD) - or 100Mbps 4.2.0...
