UV & Haze filters
Has one used a UV or Haze filter - do they work to the point that you can see a big difference.

Hmmm... I think we have an answer "no" not here in the uk anyway. The few I spoke too said no - xdcam-hd would be the minimum spec. Some went on to say they would like to see the bottom end...

Thanks for your help. I'm supprised that no company makes an adaptor for 4:3 Pro cameras. Sony are still making the DSR 400 (4:3) so I would say there is a market there for those who wish to go 16:9....

I'm just having my Sony DSR 370 fixed after I dropped and smashed the lens. A Canon YJ20x8.5B KRS & a adaptor to make the 2/3" lens fit the 1/2" camera body (long story - but no 1/2" 20x lens...
