Case for PMW-300?
I just got my PMW-300 and my old camera bag is a bit narrow. I have to remove the flip-up eyepiece to make it fit, and I'd rather not do that.
What does everyone use for their carrying bag?

PMW-300 to get XAVC updates soon
I watched this video on the new PXW-X180, and the Sony rep mentions that the 300 will get the XAVC Intra update in June, 2014, and the Long GOP update in October, 2014 (at the :44 sec. mark)

HPX600 will NOT get AVC/Ultra
I just heard from a friend at NAB that Panasonic will NOT upgrade the HPX600 to AVC/Ultra. He talked to the development engineer for the 600, who said it will never get an Ultra upgrade.

Ken, I'm with you. I love the "looking out the window" clarity you can get with 4K. Some say the AX100 is too sharp? LOL, never. That makes me want it even more. I'll take high resolution any day....

If you don't include the lens, that changes the value. I don't know what the value is without the lens. Several thousands less, for sure.

Used PMW-350s are going for about $13,000 - 15,000 USD, from what I've seen, assuming the camera includes the stock lens and viewfinder. I think you can get a lot more for it. If you're in no hurry,...
