Re: Cinevate Duzi slider and a tripod under 500 to go with it?

Tripods were not designed to handle lateral movements, NO MATTER IF YOU PAID $100 or $1000 FOR THE TRIPOD!

Re: Dance Recital Video Pricing

$650 for 3 hour dance recital. I pay my assistant $150. That leaves me with a profit of $500. I'm not looking for any get-rich schemes selling DVD copies. 99% of the population doesn't even buy...

C100 footage...

Re: Dance recital, how many unhappy parents

A lot of times certain types of people with no artistic mind frame complain if you give them anything more than a static wide shot.

Re: Delivery of all videos on youtube?

Re: 2 things I need to figure out...

You did them a good service, its not pretentious, shows everyone having fun, and the fast pace means that everytime they watch it they will find something new.

Re: FULL FEATURE 12 mins

I really like the pacing, and how you didn't try and make each scene too short like is typically done in these highlights videos (which IMO are mostly made to serve the videographer's ego). I've...

Re: Shakin' things up a bit

It sounds like the dancing in the parks with their outfits on in front of the camera was the most enjoyable part of their wedding day. I feel bad for them.

Re: Recommend a starter DSLR to dabble with?
