It's only by a few inches but that should be enough to create problems if they want to.

I'm not really worried about fitting...

I called a Sony guy (from the office in San Jose)...

I called a Sony guy (from the office in San Jose) and he couldn't confirm any dates as far as availability goes, but they have one unit there and he's impressed with the results paired with the Ex-3.

Just as an option, if you live in the US you can get a refurbished MacBook at the on-line Apple Store for less than $900.
