Clamp for mounting Fig Rig

I acquired a Fig Rig a couple of months back and I'm looking for a clamp for mounting (with quick release plate) on a monopod for locked-down shots and to use the detachable feet of my Sirui P204S as a support stand. I doubt I'd be mounting on a tripod.

The original 595CLA clamp accessory for the Fig Rig is of course discontinued.

They occasionally come up on EBay but always as part of Fig Rig bundle. Mine came with carry case and Manfrotto 521 remote which, for the price I paid, was a very good deal.

The tube diameter of the Fig Rig is 25mm (1") and I thought this SmallRig rod clamp might work:

But I'm wondering if there would be enough tolerance in the clamp aperture to allow for the curvature of the fig frame. Looks like the original 595CLA clamp had a rubber cuff to absorb that and protect the frame. The SmallRig clamp aperture has just the bare metal. There is another model for 30mm tube gimbals:

Maybe I could clamp that over some thick-walled 25mm (ID) silicone tubing as a cushion ? I was anyway thinking of attaching some rubber or foam tube to the frame base as the original protective pad had worn off.

Anyhow, I was just wondering if anyone has a 595CLA to sell or could recommend an alternative clamp that works well. I just need the one - I won't be clamping other accessories to the fig frame. Obviously the 521 remote clamps itself.

Love the Fig Rig, btw. Yes we're in the age of powered gimbals but this thing is just so versatile for my needs.

Cheers.
