DVMultiRig Pro vs. DV Traveler/Media Rig

Hi,

I'm checking out body-mounted camera stabilizers and am having a tough time deciding among the Varizoom products (DV Traveler and DV Media Rig) and the DvMultiRig Pro. The versatility and fold-up compactness of the DvMultiRigPro are appealing. The question is whether the DvMultiRigPro is less comfortable due to the lack of a shoulder pad/counterweight and possibly more rickety due to the fold-up design. Also, do these body mounts make any creaking noises which camera-mounted microphones will pick up?

I recently bought the Dv MultiRig Pro and used it the first time for a long shoot last week. The shoulder support is comfortable. The camera weight is supported mainly by the spring-loaded pod resting in the holster, along with your hands. The shoulder support provides additional stablility moreso than camera support. The rig is noiseless as far as I can tell. The build is solid, not "rickety" or anything like that at all.
I'm happy with the quality of the footage the MultiRig helped me capture, including hand-held interviews that look as if they were shot on a tripod.
I don't have experience with the Varizoom products, so I can't offer a comparison, but I'm very happy with the MultiRig Pro.

Thanks, Allen. You've allayed my stability concerns. The extra padding on the Varizoom didn't seem all that important to me as I'm using the camera for less than 3 hours / shoot, though I can see how using a mount like that would be useful for more intensive, multi-day shoots.

(I wish I could edit my first post. DVinfo interface only allows me to edit the last one)

I had been confusing the DvRigPro and the DVMultiRigPro. Sorry.
