SI-2K on a Jib

How do you record with the DVR on a Jib w/ remote head?

I haven't got the full DVR yet so still using the mini with a laptop but have run the mini on a Jimmy Jib - I imagine that I'd use a similar set up even when the full rig arrives.
SI Mini on the remote head, power & gigabit cable down the jib arm to laptop/battery. Monitor for jib operator - can be touchscreen for rolling by jib op or director can roll from laptop.

One advantage of this set up is a lot less weight is needed on the jib but if you were to put the full DVR rig on the remote head you could run a VGA & USB cable to the jib operator so they could see and control the camera.

Very simple

You simply stick the LCD running the DVR on a C stand
just the mini on the crane head
