Where do I find that info back in the menu?

In fact this info cannot be found in the menu. The only way to determine this is to connect the camcorder to a televsion and see if there is still an image displayed on it while recording.

Ok, so it's not the "hdmi resolution" in the menu, that one does display from 720p to 2160p as selection? Not sure if I can find my hdmi cable but if I do I"ll try

Anyone know how to get rid of the Zoom buttons on the screen that now appear after the update?

They are distracting and I can't find a setting to turn them off.

No, the menu entries are always available. Only a black image is outputted via hdmi during recording 4k on older firmwares.

oh wait, my camera is set to 4k and the tv is 1080p, I take it I should set the camera to 1080p first?

Noa, that setting is on by default. These zoom buttons are driving me crazy. The come on over top of the screen and I can tap the screen to get rid of it. but then they come right back.

Just set the camera to 1080p and connected back to the tv, now I continued having a preview on my tv when the camera was recording...
