Hi! The LCD of my HC-9 began to show a scroll as shown in this video. Does anyone know what can that be?

If it's only on the side-screen and not in the v'finder then it's the age-old Sony HC problem - the ribbon cable twixt cam and screen has had it. All repair facilities know of this and it should be repaired quickly and cheaply.

My HC7 just acted up like this too. On average, how cheap is the ribbon cable replacement?
