Just my opinion, not necessarily a 'scientific' based remark, ie, not based on thorough analisys. From all the footage I've seen from HC1 and FX1 the consumer camera seems to have more vivid colors and finer resolution. Very photo-like, being CMOS and all.
That is not to say that the HC1 is the better camera, just that I prefer the images I've seen from it. I'm sure that in terms of control, options, light sensitivity and exposure latitude the FX1 is the winner.
I'm pondering very seriously getting an HC1 though...
