I haven't seen any interlace problems on playback, are you using "digital cinema desktop preview" to for fullscreen playback? FCP seems to deinterlace automatically in this mode.

Aric,

The interlacing you see is natural since they capture interlaced footage. The reason why you see the interlacing when viewing at 100% and not at 50% is because when you view the footage at 50%, FCP just displays one field and ignores the other when viewing at 50%. This is not a problem with HDV but you will see this with your SD footage as well.

The only way to get rid of the interlacing is to de-interlace the footage. You can find different methods of de-interlacing to get the "film look." Or you can just try FCP's built-in deinterlace filter.
