I thought you were going to pull some off-the-wall technical term out like "laser rot" from the use of a permanent marker. You got me on that one. :)

Are you going with adhesive labels or Lightscribe?

I think we're WAYYYYY off topic now. Let's talk about how the HC3 drops frames in Vegas, which might be happening because it's native m2t vs. a DI.

Will that even come into play with the tapes being eight years old and most likely SD material?

Richard, have you used another program to do the export? If you have XP you could try Windows Movie Maker.

Adhesive labels. I don't have a lightscribe burner.

I have xp, but I figure why bother with Movie maker.

I'll give it a test run with movie maker when I get a chance,
although I've burned my dvd using the import from the gs300 already.
