Cavision HC1 Spacer Question

Doing a quick search on google lists only 2 places to purchase this item - B&H and Adorama - and both are out of stock.

Anyone have another resource for obtaining this item that is actually in stock???

TIA,

Evan Dowling December 28th, 2006 11:26 AM

You should be able to get the part directly from Cavision

www.cavision.com

Sent them an email this morning - are they closed for the holidays???

James Harring December 28th, 2006 11:53 AM

Cavision spacer

They are small company, and may be closed.
Hey, I have one of these for the a1u... don't like it. camera picks up motion since the surface area is less. Esp. noticable @ zoom.

Cliff Etzel December 28th, 2006 11:56 AM

Are there any other options for this since the camera is crippled with the bottom loading feature when attached to a tripod???

more options for bottom loaders here:

Also, anyone interested in selling their Cavision Spacer? It's still out of stock and I tried getting in contact with Cavision directly and I'm not getting a reply. Thanks!

I prefer the DeMaagd spacer, lightweight but solid, tuff and ready to attach other devices.

I have cavision rods already so I figure it might be better to stick with cavision. I got through to cavision by the way. It seems more effective to contact Jason there as oppose to emailing the general email address.

Not that it may help too many of you but Sony Australia has a page on their site where you can claim the free "spacer" that allows bottom loading.

and

It looks a little awkward but hey it's a free redemption, so I'll give it a go. I've filled in my details so I'll just wait to see what happens.

It was only by chance I stumbled accross this as it is hidden deep in their High Def site. Might be something that Sony in other countries offer.

Thanks for the tip Andrew. I just ordered mine. Hope that it comes through.

All the best,.

I've got Cavision rails and platform. Redrock Micro hardware fits and works perfectly on Cavision rails. I have both the follow focus and the spacer.

Sell Spacer...

Min Lee, I would be interested in selling mine.
I don't plan on getting rails.
It's in perfect shape.

We should take this offline if interested.

sorry dood. A little late. I already ordered one from B&H during the brief time they had it in stock one day. Thanks anyhow, good luck finding another buyer.
