I used it for one wedding and i wasn't too happy. It's weak in low light.
For that price you can buy used Canon XH A1, which so much better cam.

I don't intend to use it for reception, but for well lit ceremony. Lots of light on the altar and it should turn out really nice. At least half of most churches are darker than they need to be for this cam, especially these old churches in Cincinnati. I know the Canon is great cam and saw the one for sale for $2800, but I just can't imagine switching horses in mid stream. I do like Sony cams, I like the cool accurate picture. Makes the footage more receptive to film effects, IMO. I have seen some stunning footage from the AH1's, really nice though. I Had the hots for that cam immediately after it came out, but decided to stick with sony for now. There is no way that footage would match well with my PD or VX cams.
