Another issue to look at is the "sharpness" setting on the camera. The V1, for example, has it fairly high as a factory default.
If you reduce this sharpness then it should in turn reduce the prominence of any grain/noise that you pick up. (and allow more mpeg2 compression of the HDV format to be used on reproducing your target content instead of the graininess). Andrew |
