iChat
Hey folks. Everybody who has a HDR-FX1 and has iChat should
join this thread. iChat (MAC platform) works excellent and offers full screen quality video conferencing. It would be nice to have a group of people with HDR-FX1 cameras on iChat. Now that we have the camera and made the first foot steps, a lot of questions come up. iChat is the ideal medium to meet, ask questions, discuss, show the newest tricks, explain etc. AIM works also with iChat but has not the same quality. Please provide following information: LOCATION SCREEN NAME AVAILABILITY My my data: LOCATION: Clearwater FL SCREEN NAME: hptschupp@mac.com AVAIABILITY: daily from 7PM through 11PM EST |
Actually I was hoping you'd find this message board to be the ideal medium to meet, ask questions, discuss, show the newest tricks, explain etc. That's why I set it up.

Huh? Ichat?
Isn't what we're doing here considered Interactive Chating? |
iChat
If you don't like iChat, skip it, forget it.
If you want to get an idea how it works and how the quality is, watch this movie: http://www.panfluteforum.org/inline_...i_lesson-1.wmv I have no intention to invalidate this Forum which is a great place to exchange thoughts and experiences. Thanks for creating it! An example, how iChat and a Forum can go parallel, is the following web page http://www.panfluteforum.org (Go to > FORUM and then > VIDEO CONFERENCING). Thanks for the opinion anyway. |
Hi H.P.
I think most people know how iChat works here.. It's just that more people can benefit from your discoveries if you don't make it exclusive.. If you hit the search button here, on any subject you'll find lost of info that people has talked about before here. if everybody used iChat it'd all be lost.. This works very well too however, even if slightly less hi-tech.. ;-) |
Yes, the advantage of our system here (asynchronous discussion) is that the communication is archived, searchable and open for reading to everyone.

Agree with C.H., I do.
