HD lipstick camera for use with FX1
 

Hi everyone;
I do a bit of hang gliding and often fly with a small mini DV camera mounted on the glider. I have just purchased an FX1 and would like to fly with it but I am reluctant because of the risk to the camera on those less than perfect landings. Anyway, I would like to safely stash the FX1 in my harness and remotely mount a HD lipstick or micro camera on various parts of the glider. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced micro camera that will link up to the FX1? Thanks for any suggestions.

They work fine. Set your fx1 to vcr and press rec/play.

You won't be able to use a lipstck camera because there is no HD input on the unit except for HDV over firewire. You'll have to settle for SD.

Yes using a bullet cam you will only be able to use DV. No HDV.
