I have to inform you that it´s Dutch, not German. Its a camcorder repair and service specialist, so he needs to look inside...

Yet another reminder that I can/should remove that stupid Sony mic mount.

Jesse Stipek February 7th, 2006 11:02 PM

That's amazing!

Those are excellent pictures. It's interesting trying to figure out which parts are worth the thousands of dollars...

Please don't hijack threads. I have split off the posts about do-it yourself firmware upgrades to a new thread here: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=60360

what a nutter!

sure wouldn't have the guts to do that to mine!

Robert M Wright February 15th, 2006 12:27 PM

I guess I won't have to open up my FX1 or Z1 to look inside when I get one now. Great photos!

i once was at this guys place. It was an adventure I can tell. While waiting for repair on the spot of my vx1000 ( it was a few years ago) one can watch live cameleons and other exotic animals climbing over the furniture and the camera spares.
The place is like a greenhouse/cameramuseum.
Everywhere suddenly strange animals pop up out of a corner.
Very entertaining.
The guy sure knows the inside of cams but you can see that on
his site. When leaving with my repaired camera I could get myself some free fresh flowers on the other side of the street. Very nice!
