Where should fx1 audio sit
 

Hi all,
Bit confused about audio on the fx1.

If the reference Level for HDV is -20dB. Does this mean my levels should be lower when recording? And while where on that am i correc in saying they should sit between -10db to -6db .

Im using a passive beachtek adapter which is fairly easy to work with.
