All these shooters use DLSR to make timelapse videos.
Philip also has some clips on our site.
I shoot with a Nikon D200. Import image sequences into After Effects
and you can create what ever size or framerate HD file you want.....
I am also playing with bracketed timelapse exposures to create
HDR timelapse videos....very cool. Will post some when I get a chance.

Sarah try this:

download the DEMO version of DVRack

Turn ON the Z1 and connect to a PC (laptop or desktop)
Programme DVRack to record a frame every X seconds
In the end you have a DV file with the time-lapse properly done

You have 10 days to use it !

The present demo does not capture HD, only DV.
If you know someone that has the "old" demo version, this is NOT a problem...

One option would be to record to DV either on tape or to a laptop/hard disk recorder. Then import your DV file with ScLive, which has the ability to selectively pull 1 frame out of x frames, if I recall correctly...
